Accommodation

This private, modern lodge comfortably sleeps sixteen, with each bedroom comprising a king size bed, as well as two single beds which are positioned in the open loft above. Each air-conditioned bedroom has its own mosquito netting around the beds, to ensure a restful sleep, and offers the privacy of an adjoining bathroom, comprising a shower, toilet and basin. The bedrooms all open onto a wooden deck, where morning coffee can be enjoyed, while drinking in the magnificent ocean view, a stone's throw away.

The bedrooms lead into the heart of the home - the kitchen, lounge and pub areas. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern electrical appliances, together with a large fridge-freezer. The pub area has its own bar fridge to ensure that iced frosties are always close at hand and the lounge area is equipped with comfortable seating and a large television. Adjacent to the kitchen is a separate scullery which includes a washing machine and tumble drier, thus ensuring a combination of comfort and holiday practicality.

Embedded in the surrounding wooden deck are both a sparkling Jacuzzi and a plunge pool, where one can seek refuge from the beach in the heat of the day or quietly sip on G&Ts as the sun sinks in the evening, before retiring to the lapa area to enjoy braaied meat or seafood. The large, central braai in the lapa is a masterpiece, guaranteed to create an environment which cements friendships and creates long-lived memories.

Things to see and Do

Frederico's Beach, which stretches for kilometres to both the left and right of the unit, encourages the athletic to take long beach runs, the less energetic to take reflective walks and gives the athletically-challenged the chance to wiggle their bare toes in the warm, white sands.
For scuba-diving and snorkelling enthusiasts, some of the world's best diving sites are practically on the lodge's doorstep.

Commune with the seasonal leather-backed turtles, stand in awe of the whales as they breach the azure ocean waters, and if you're really lucky, swim with the bottle-nosed dolphins. Good fishing spots can also be found up and down the beach, offering the chance for fresh seafood on the braai. A note to deep-sea enthusiasts: Boats can be launched from the beach.
